Brent J. Jordan, Esq., LL.M. has practiced personal injury, estate planning, and federal tax law for over 40 years as a civil trial attorney, district court judge, arbitrator, insurance company excess claims manager, and federal tax specialist with an attorney master's degree in federal taxation. He is licensed to practice law in California, Texas, and Nevada, and is licensed to practice before the IRS in all 50 states. Mr. Jordan is also a former adjunct professor of law at UCLA, teaching trials and appeals, and the author of about 50 books.

What motivated you to write 50 books?
I want to give something back to the world which has given me so many wonderful things, and also to leave an eternal legacy of entertaining, original, and educational books for future generations to enjoy.
Where have you lived during your life?
I was born in Montclair, New Jersey, and moved to Los Angeles, California in 1961, and then to San Francisco, California in 1993, and next to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2000, and after that to South Padre Island, Texas in 2021, and finally to Corpus Christi, Texas in 2022.
What outdoor activities do you enjoy?
Swimming, sailing, fishing, surfing, bicycling, hiking, tennis, golf.
What indoor activities do you enjoy?
Writing, playing guitar, painting with oils. watching movies and sports and documentaries, meditation, and yoga.
Have you traveled much?
Yes, I have visited nearly every major U.S. city, and have also traveled over 200 times outside the U.S.A. to Mexico, Central America, South America, China, Japan, Thailand, Australia, England, France, Italy, and Spain.
What languages do you speak?
English, of course, and enough Spanish to get by well and get in trouble too.

Single

Yes, twin sons
Do you work?
Yes, I am semi-retired and work part-time at Ranalli, Zaniel, Fowler, Moran, LLC. I take depositions of doctors and expert witnesses via Zoom video calls.
